One of the most iconic ridgewalking circuits in mainland Scotland! The Ring of Steall takes in the four Munros of Sgurr a’Mhaim, Am Bodach, Stob Coire a’ Chairn and An Gearanach in a circuit above Steall Falls – one of Scotland’s largest and most impressive waterfall. Grade 1 scrambling provides interest and excitement en route, without ever being too challenging or committing. A useful prelude to harder scrambles and an exceptional day out in it’s own right!

The trip will be run by a qualified Mountain Leader who can lead, guide and instruct you up this magnificent route offering coaching and tips throughout. A rope will be carried for emergencies, but this is not a planned roped scramble – the focus is on improving your confidence and independent movement. You will be in the safest of hands, allowing you to tackle the scramble with confidence and security.
Group sizes are kept very low to maximise your safety, learning and enjoyment.
A very good standard of fitness is required for this long challenging day. ⛰️⛰️
